When you're in college, there are a lot of things to be thankful for. One of them is band concerts, especially when the local bands that you get to see live? Are Parokya ni Edgar and Kamikazee. Those bands filled up my first year in high school. I was into local bands before and I'm still into them now, you gotta love your own. In addition to that, it was my bestfriend's 18th birthday so I figured it was the perfect timing to bring her there.
It was held at my university, DLSU-D, and it was actually an annual thing, who knew? A lot of people came which wasn't a surprise, it's fucking PnE and Kami-fucking-kazee. If you're foreign and reading this right now, you have to check out those bands. They're insane.

The whole night was perfect. The mosh pit was full of sweat and literally smelled like dirty socks and armpits. Perks of being a band lover, you have to make sacrifices. Other people actually passed out because there was a lot of pushing and suffocating. But see, nothing compares to live sets, NOTHING. Don't even argue with me on this. The band merch was expensive as fuck which kinda sucked because I really wanted one, a thousand pesos for a band shirt can you believe it. Bullcrap.
But the best thing about here is I made my bestfriend happy on her special day. Parokya ni Edgar was practically our childhood. Chito Miranda is one of the best lyrical geniuses out there no doubt. Can't wait for next year.
