What happens when you combine college and bands plus djs in one night? This event probably sums it all up. There are various Filipino bands on my bucket list and I was able to cross out four of them, thanks to my university. Now that the final term is fast approaching, and the Lasallian week coming to an end, I thought it was best to wrap it up in a kick ass concert with some of my best buds. The night started off fresh, the guest hosts were Joyce Pring and MC Paolo Avila.

The first set was performed by Imago--which has the most gorgeous vocalist I've ever seen so far by the way--

I was not much of a fan but I've been listening to their songs since high school because most of them were featured on Filipino telenovelas. They're really catchy and pretty much made up a part of my childhood.

Up next was Chicosci! If you read my previous blog post about last year's Bazooka Rocks Festt III, they were one of the opening bands there, and man, the level of hype they present every time they go onstage is unbelievable--especially their vocalist Miggy. They were really bad ass.

Here's the band opening their set:

Just want to highlight Miggy's arm tattoos, and how hot his eyes are.

More arm sleeves:

Second half of the night was kicked off by Moonstar88. Now this band is probably most familiar with 90's Filipino kids, including me. As a kid I sang (and knew) most of their songs through karaoke. Migraine was definitely the cherry on top of all Moonstar88 songs. It's both senti and it never goes out of date. You could listen to this band on rainy days and literally just lay in bed.

Her tattoo was on point, which I love.

Last, but most definitely, not the least, 6 CycleMind. Personally I think this band is still currently one of the biggest bands of OPM today. Like Parokya ni Edgar, and the Eraserheads, this group of musicians absolutely made their mark not only in the Filipino Music Industry, but also in every music lover's hearts. They sound a million times better when they perform live--considering that they're only just a couple of feet away from me, I was mesmerized.

I even touched his hand, I'm never washing it again.

Following those four bands was one of my favorite DJs, Katsylee! Here's a photo during her set:

Just imagine all the fangirling I did all in a span of hours, plus I actually got to spent the night with my friends. It was absolutely the best way of welcoming the final term, couldn't think of anything better.
