Just the right mix of movie marathons and a picnic date with friends. This annual event held in Nuvali has been much anticipated by people of all ages.
Basically they just set up a big screen outdoors together with a lot of fun food booths and everyone just sets up their blankets. There's a catch though, it is recommended that you should arrive at the venue earlier from the opening time since this is a first come first serve system. There'll be bands present so who wouldn't want to have the view from the first row right?
We watched Cinemalaya films which were effortlessly relatable, as expected on all Filipino films. Up Dharma Down was also present. Their set was relaxing and just perfect for the chill vibe of the event.
The only thing I hated about Night Sky was their portable toilets. So I suggest you find a nearby restroom instead of going through the long queue line just to do number one in an unhygienic porta-potty.
At the end of the day we had fun, the event lasted past midnight. A lot of the people went home by then.
Nuvali Night Sky Cinema is an event worth going to every year.
